Botox

Botulinum toxin is purified substance that's derived from a neurotoxic protein, it works by blocking certain chemical impulses that trigger muscles to contract. Without a signal, repeated hyperactive contractions are diminished. Your cosmetic nurse uses a fine needle to inject small amounts of botulinum toxins such as Botox® and Dysport®, improving appearance by temporarily eliminating unwanted wrinkles and smoothing out facial lines.
During a treatment the nurse will work with you to define your beauty goals and determine the appropriate course of action. Some wrinkles are better suited for a treatment filled with hyaluronic. As a team, a treatment plan will be recommended to gracefully obtain the desired look of timeless beauty. The nurse places the injections carefully, targeting the necessary muscles and none of the nearby tissue. Meaning you won’t get the frozen look, and will have a full range of facial expressions while the neurotoxin is active.

Most people tolerate Botox well, and experience few to no side effects, however if you get side effects after treatment, they’re typically mild and might include:

botox

  • Soreness, swelling, bruising, or bleeding at injection sight

The effects can last up to four months, and you can stay on top of your regime by booking another round of injections to keep a soften facial expression that will leave you looking younger, brighter and anew.
